I was looking through my old photos and found these gems from a few weeks after I brought Levi home last November.
He was so tiny! And that was after he had put on at least twice his original weight of 30 grams. Here he is today with his (fingers crossed) ladies that I received from Austin in march, Panzer and Abrams.
They devoured a double handful of turnip greens that I gave them early when I put them out and this apparently tasty follow up is a mixture of Mazuri and Zoomed Grassland on a bed of more turnip greens. All three of them will eat straight grassland diet or chopped and soaked grass hay now (they eat mostly leafy things still though) I think it may be because they spent so much of the summer out on the grass. I always offered other greens but I suppose when you spend the day walking around on tasty looking green grass you still have a few bites. I was surprised because I thought the girls at least werea little small to enjoy hay as much as they do (granted I doctor it).
Here is my little cooter getting a little real life sunshine too!
Oh and I almost forgot....I left the screen door open for a bit a couple of weeks ago and the torts had a visitor outside (he did NOT want to come out either)
See the tail?
Here's a close up
