Poor thing! ? Is he going to have to live this way his whole life? I made mine a beautiful yard and a wonderful habitat. Seeing this way of life just makes me so angry.

could you post pictures of your enclosure so this new member has some idea?
I don’t think he knows what to do or what to get . It is so overwhelming with a sulcata.. I Would post pictures of mine but I have a giant now and he doesn’t need that kind of outside exposure.
even just a tort table with a whole bunch of greens and pretty things and it would be nice picture for him to see... please!
before he gets the wrong things ....again.

Soak the tortoise in lukewarm water daily for 20-30 minutes to keep it well hydrated. You might try putting a bit of mineral oil on the area between the scutes which are raised up with a cotton swab after the soak to keep it from drying out during the day also.

Yes. I'm already read that, and I will provide better place for the tortoise to live
