I'm currently visiting Louisiana for a few weeks. However, I'm from VA and we find these spotted garden slugs all over the place. I realize my turtles eat whatever they get their beaks on in their enclosure and box turtles eat various slugs in the wild, but should I be worried about intentionally feeding these slugs to my turtles? I always want to collect them up and give them to my turtles...I know this is probably a dumb question, but you can never be too safe. Does anyone go out of their way to feed these to their turtles?

I do. I find them in places that I know have not been sprayed or treated. My boxies love them.

My vegan granddaughter helped me get some yesterday and fed them to the boxies. She described in great detail the squooshiness as Johnson & the others bit into them. Almost made my daughter throw up.
