Hey all,
I found a small one inch whiteish slug in the tortoise indoor enclosure today, by the pond area. I've only ever purchased substrate from stores, so it must have come in from their packaging. My gut instinct is to leave it in there for a more natural eco system (and because it's cute). Is there any negatives to letting it live in there?

Thanks,
Lina

Are you sure it is not a grub? With the species you have --- if the tort locates it, well, you will not have the concern and the tort will have scored :D

:D I was thinking it may not last long, that the redfooted may have himself a tasty fresh meal.

So I'm assuming they are safe to eat for the red foots? And can be left in there? It's definitely a slug (has those cute little antennae)
