So I had Lylah outside with me while my two year old played in the backyard. Lylah walked around exploring and tasting things when I saw her lift something white up from the ground. I interrupted her and she dropped it. It was a piece of rough white rock, about the size of her mouth. It kind of freaked me out. I'm not sure if she was just mouthing it or if she had intended to eat it. It would have surely caused problems if she had swallowed it. Yikes!

if you keep cuttlebone in her enclosure and she saw something similar, its possible for her to have mistaken it to be the same thing. just a thought.

My box turtle tries to eat anything white as well. He/she continuously tries to get the light colored stones out of the bricks on my brick patio.
