Selling my 2 leopard tortoises in Michigan- metro Detroit area. I have had Leo (sex uncertain) for 3 plus years. She is friendly. 3576 grams and growing. I bought her from a local pet store with poor husbandry.
Tello was bought 2 years ago from a local pet show. Confirmed male. He is likely over 5 years old. He was in terrible shape and awful conditions at the pet show
, but I couldn't leave him there. He is beautiful- but not perfect. He was under 400 grams when we bought him. He is now 4329 grams.
We have been following directives from this forum since we bought them. We can keep them and are not in a rush to sell, but are looking to find another, perhaps better, home for them. Maybe somewhere south.
We will not ship. Please don't ask. However, we will meet someone half way within reason.
We are asking $800 for both tortoises. I will want pics of your setup. I would be happy to throw in any tortoise extras I have (lights, supplements, etc). They have grown out of their enclosure but you are welcome to it. If we don't sell them soon we will be building another.
