All:
Franklin managed to escape his outside enclosure, and crossed paths with the neighbors German shepherds. He ended up with 5 punctures on top of his shell, and 2 small ones on the bottom. I've been told to use fiber glass to patch him up after the wounds heal. He's a 7 year old Herman's. Since he's still growing, if I keep them clean, and covered, will they knit themselves over time, or do I have to repair him to keep dirt, and water out? He seems to be recovering well, and the only thing different, aside from him being a bit more timid, with good cause, is that he seems to spend a lot more time under his light. Any advice would be appreciated.
