Schute Problem?

I was stroking crush's shell today and noticed one of his schutes is not growing and it is like slanted (not bad) Why is this? Photo isnt good, but I think you can still tell.

&

Also I have noticed some raised rings on him (not pyramiding) I was going to point them out but its a bit tricky, again sorry the photo isnt good but im sure you can see a few raised rings.

The raised ridges are perfectly normal In your first picture, the scute looks like it is growing fine. Do you mean it's dipping in towards the back?

Yes The top bit is fine, but it dipps to the bottom! So its like growing diagonally
