Just wondering who else lived in or near my area, San Diego, California. Kind of new to tortoises (at least owning them) and am interested in finding local fellow tortoisians

We have quite a few San Diego members here on the forum. Also, there are chapters of California Turtle & Tortoise Club in Victorville and Palm Desert, and of course, the San Diego Turtle and Tortoise club. You can find them in a web search.

The "club" doesn't have a chapter here but the "society" does lol They should merge

I'm going to their next meeting on the 8th with my little injured RF. And I want to go to the annual turtle and tortoise show a week from then. Just wanted to see if I could find a few people on here who might be going. And I was curious.

It sounds like they are pretty desperate for people to adopt and/or foster. I know they have a few russians and DT's right now. And allot! of RES's. And a box of box turtles that got attacked by a raccoon.
