Russan #3 Brick

Well the name will probably change, but got my third Russan today. He is 455 grams and 4 1/2 inches long. Well, I think he is. He looks bigger then Rosie but still measures 4 1/2 inches on his plastron. What is the proper way to measure them? He is a cutie, I got from the adoption forum. Picked him up today. I also think he needs a beak trim. He was a bit dry so I soaked him. He seems to like his head rubbed! Here are his pictures.

I will eventually but Rosie is not big enough yet. She is only 4 1/2 inches

Here's how I like to measure them...

Put a ruler/tape measure up to the wall and press the tortoise against the wall too (don't worry he'll tuck his head in) then you can see exactly how long your tort is!
