Wow, you guys werent kidding, my RF absolutly LOVES chomping on the roses. The only other thing ive seen her eat so eagerly was the blueberries. I think Ive heard it mentioned the rose is close to hibiscus, is that right? Is this something i can make a tea from? Heres a few pics of the lil one nom'ing.

Yes its a species of cold hardy hibiscus, at least one variety is. There are many different kinds. You can also feed the leaves. They love them almost as much.

Wow, we have many Rose of Sharon bushes. I am going to try some with my torts. Is there any advantage or disadvantage to different colored flowers? I have all colors.
