I'm about to embark on the building of an indoor home for two RFs (5 and 9") that I acquired this summer. I want it to be as big as I can, and still manage it...reach into all of it for cleaning etc. What should the minimum be for two of that size? I know they will be growing...
Also, best substrate and where to get it in a bigger quantity? I am worried a lot of mulch things are seasonal at Lowes/HD so I better get shopping.
I was planning on covering one end for a humid hide and adding plants brought in from my gardens as well as seeding some edibles.
I am planning on just some heat and then maybe one plant light for the growth of the plants..didn't want to go overboard with the light. But they will be in the basement. Maybe a UVB bulb too? I know that is a highly debated topic.
Just a quick rundown of what I need to include would be great and would save me from hours of searching around. I did read about the first 20 pages under this forum, but have many more to go!
