Red foot tortoise baby

So I am thinking of getting a baby red foot tortoise and was wondering if the cage I have now would work or if I should buy a turtle table. The cage I have now is 3 feet long and 2 feet wide and has all the lights build in and I would cover half the glass so he can't see out.

This tank will work fine for a hatchling red foot once you clean it up. Vivarium style enclosures suit them well.

OK thank you won't be getting a little one until spring so if this enclosure will work I'll start cleaning up and getting it ready.

It won't last you long though, but will give you time to plan for a bigger space for it.

Ya I figured it would only be for the first yr or so. Once it stops raining we have an area in the front yard that we are going to turn into an outdoor enclosure.
