Plant Id help Please

Hello fellow TFO members :D I am wondering if anyone could help me figure out if thse two plants are tort friendly? Thank you in advance:D
1. I think it is plantain but I am not sure

Hey, did you move the pebbles and stuff from around the plant in the first pic to take the pic? :p

The first one is not plantain, the second one is the slender leaf type of plantain.

I didn't realize there was a slender leaf plantain.

Horseweed was my first choice too, however, when you do an image 'net search for "horseweed" it doesn't show the same plant as in this thread.

Ok...I found some images for it. Horseweed is also called fleabane, and under that search, I found the exact plant pictured here. It is edible, however most uses call for it to be steamed or boiled.

Just realized I was looking for "horse tail"...completely different plant.
