The site sent me a new tort as the last one was NOT a female. So I'm hoping this new one is a female.

Now my question is what is the little hard fish hook thing on the tip of it's tail?

I'll post pic's in a while so you guys can take ur guesses about the sex and I'll cross my fingers for a female..

that's a male attribute I believe. Uhoh

Males and females have a nail on the end of their tail. Males though have a larger nail. Hermanns have this also.

Yup I have Russians, 13 adults or subadults and I have 5 hatchlings. In the past 5 days 4 females have laid 13 eggs. So yes I've bred them.

Ughhh where are finding the female adults? Your so lucky..

I'd give 3-5 baby dragons and my other male Russian for a female that is at breeding age..

I'm about to give up, we've been at it for months searching the whole web for an adult...

Lol yeah she's a cutie and I love that little face but I'm new to the torts, just got my first one a male little over a month ago so I'm not used to sexing them yet.
