Oh, that golden is very pretty, very uniform in color...are they more expensive than cherryheads?

Not to be a "Kill Joy", But, I think your (great looking by the way) lil' guy will most likely darken as it gets older. Most do. Although there are exceptions it is not the norm from what I have seen.

Iam sure it will ... its sybling is a tad darker But the last 10 years from this breeding pair has only produced about 12 of these. Ive seen a 8 " from the same parents and had the same coloring at this size .. and it still has retained its gold coloring.
But its still cool regardless, and If anyone has one one of these Gold babies. Id like to see it! ... the baby pic .. and the so called Older Darker Version. Terry showed his lil goldie .. and right off the bat they arnt even close in color. You can see the dark pattern in his baby and this is one basiclly patternless. Plus I dont really care what color it
turns out to be ...I can assure you it wont be like a regular dark colored redfoot though..!
No Kill joy here~
Just bunk redfoots~:p

I myself have never produced anything that looks like yours.
Although I have produced some completely black skinned animals.
I also am interested in seeing how it turns out!
Best of luck & I am glad I'm not a "Kill Joy"!

Same here. But the good thing is that hatchlings like that pale one tend to have really large yellow areolas on their carapace when they get larger.

Exactly! Nice illustration. Some of those very pale hatchlings can make you think xanthic or hypo-melanistic at first. But as they grow they just have really nice carapace spots.
