Hi, my name is Brian Rodriguez. I'm from Los Angeles California. I'm new to these forums but I'm very interested in learning as much as I can about tortoises to hopefully take care of one myself! Any help will be most appreciated. Gracias and cheers!

They are indigenous to much of Southern California and are easily obtained through the California Turtle and Tortoise Club. We have one male and three females who are the joys of our life. We did it! Me and my girlfriend adopted a Sulcata tortoise! His name is Viserion!

Pop on over to the sulcata forum and read the section on raising babies ASAP as they are so fragile.
