Hello everyone I would like you to meet Boris!!!

I'm 95% sure he's a male...

Brought him home soaked him put some Collard greens and a little treat and he went to town!!! He even fell asleep next to the food dish =)

Tell me what you guys think!!!

Haha Yes we are a couple! I got her hooked on Tort's also... Except shes dying to have a little Pancake!!! But I think she will warm up to Boris!!! =)

You guys are so cute.
It's nice to see couples involve.
I notice that a lot of husbands and boyfriends help put together tortoise tables for their lovies.
My boyfriend mentioned to me that he had some ideas, which is fantastic!
It's nice that there's mutual support.
(I mean come on, someone's got to deal with our crazy obsession with out torts)

Haha I have some pictures from his first full day!!!

He fell asleep under the basking light, then again in his food =)

And what is this white stuff that came out during his bath?

I think she just wants a Pancake so she can do this!!! Look at the picture!!!

The white stuff are urates. His are looking a little too thick and gritty. That means be sure to give him soaks for awhile to rehydrate him. Also, if he were mine, I would be feeding some romaine (higher in water content) and even some pumpkin. Cucumber too has high water value. Once I got his urates looking good then I would go back to a higher quality type variety diet. You want the urates to appear more like raw egg whites, I guess would work as a visual.

Is it just me, or do his eyes seem closed a lot?

I need to go check out the first two sets of pictures.

I don't know he sits under the heat lamp and sleeps!!! He has his eyes open quite a bit I just like taking pictures when he falls asleep!!! And alright I put Romaine in his dish today I put an Apple in there as a treat and he didn't even acknowledge it. And yes I will make him sit in his bath for at least 15 mins today.
