My tortoise stinks! -.-

My tortoise's poop stinks a lot. It used to smell like nothing when I first got him. What do you think caused the change?

I've always noticed the poop smells really bad right when its fresh, I feed grocery store greens usually. I think its pretty normal for the poop to smell bad.

Was he a hatchling when you first got him? The bigger they get, so does the poop, which would also make it more smelly. Also, maybe like babies of most species, the poop doesn't smell, until they start growing.

My tort is the same. Stinky, stinky butt! I had to buy a teensy toothbrush for scrubbing his little bottom with it. He eats grocery store greens.
