Hi all. I live in the northwest panhandle of Florida and have two adult male Sulcatas. They are both between 13-15 years old, but one is much larger than the other (around 100lbs vs around 60lbs) and the larger one is constantly bullying the smaller one. I need to find a good home for one of them.

Too bad you have to find a new home for one of the tortoises. You are proving the rule that two sulcatas just don't do well in the same pen. Like Jacqui asked...is there no way to divide up the yard so each can have his own space?

I'm sorry to hear, I know how heart breaking this can be. I just had to go through this myself. Like others have stated....can you separate? I wish I would have figured out a way to keep both of mine, after re-homing I had a change of heart but the new owner would not give her back. You don't realize how attached you are until you no longer have them, but in the end you have to do what is best. Unfortunately there was a lot of damage/injury caused before I separated. Keep a close eye on them until you figure out what you need to do. Good luck!
