why are you guys just looking for mazuri and other IMPORTED food.....???? dude the Indian star tortoise is Indian..... so that means its food should be present in its native land an it is... you just need a deliberate effort in searching your nearby veggie markets and garden nursery or even someone's backyard.......... the people living outside India should be concerned and bothered about Mazuri and other stuff and not you guys........... do you get my point????

well here are some Very Very Very common stuff available all around India:

Hibiscus flower
cucumber(kheera)
Fenugreek(Methi)
Cilantro(Dhaniya)
Wheat Grass(Gehu ki ghass)you can grow in a small pot
raddish greens(muli ke patte)
lawn grass

remember Fresh is always better than processed foods like Mazuri etc....
just like fresh veggies are better than processed food for us Humans.....

That's the same thing i think but it's not always you gonna keep a stock of fresh greens and grasses .Sometimes due to busy schedule you run out of them, so for emergency purpose we need something which is OK for the torts............:;)
