Ornate Diamondback Terrapin.. found in the BRACKISH water from extreme SW up to most of the panhandle of Florida.
This is a captive hatched adult male - none as a "Flowerback" - from a trade of one hatched in my incubator.in late 2013.
2013 hatched -
Quite often they bask together - [ the light hood caused "shade" in pic.. they were in direct light ] -
My good friend Jim hatched this male.. and wanted a different bloodline in his collection so we traded for a sibling [ incubated for female ] of the one shown here. These hatchlings were the only 2 that hatched -- I am not working with "Macros" at this time...
