Some crazy lady knocked on my door and gave me Maks as a 4 week old kitten, the day after I buried my side-kick, Big Bubba. Having a kitten helped my grief over Big Bubba, he was only 16 and most of my cats live to 20 or so.
Bubba was my co-driver in my semi-truck.
So anyhow, my daughter in law said Maks was a male, I named him Max. When I took him to the Vet at 5 months, the Vet says " we'll have to 'spay' him. The first 5 months I had him Max was a male. But he's really a female so I changed the spelling to Maks. Or I named her after Maxsim, I can't spell it, the hot dancer on Dancing With The Stars...she weighs 15 pounds and is 5 years old. She's been on a diet for over a year, and when we started the diet she weighed 13 pounds...go figure. She sleeps on her back a lot. I just wanted to show her off...
