This is a male K.erosa.. aka Forest Hingeback -
One of those outrageous "yellow-headed".. and this is where he lives.. an L shaped enclosure:
From the south end looking north [ small R-o-S at top of pic ] -
Looking past the Rose-of-Sharon - [ the redfoot enclosure to the right ] -
Their hide with a hinged lid [ filled with leaves.. 2'x 4' ] -
The 3' gate into their enclosure -
You can see the two 24" diameter [ water heater ] pans for soaking/drinking at the top of pic. And just inside thru the gate are 2 pieces of slate they are fed on.
From the north end looking back past the hide.. about 32' long and 4'-5' wide thru-out -
And looking east along the north end about 30' from the west wall to where it stops -
They must be happy.. they come out of their hide minutes after I place anything to eat on their food slate.. and they have been breeding consistently.
