Jenny my tortoise

So I got Jenny a year ago at petsmart , I was told she was a couple months old (first 5 pictures was when I first got her ) (last 5 is now) she is 4 1/2 inches long and weighs 552grams. How old do you think she is ? Spoke with @Tom he said they are usually WC imported Russians and she’s prob 10 years old . Lesson learned to never buy from pet stores again and buy from a breeder , upset that she isn’t 1 and I’m
Not raising her since a baby but so happy she’s still mine ❤️🐢

This tortoise will still outlive you. I wouldn't worry about the age. Just enjoy your tortoise.

I hope you aren't using the red bulb anymore...

@Tom oh no I got rid of that when you informed me on the proper lighting , I use the floodlight 65watt, the ceramic heat emitter 100watt, the led 6500k light and the Acadia 12% UV light. 😊❤️🐢

Tom she is definitely a lot more active and happier !!! She still loves to bury herself in her soil though haha which I think it’s normal , but it’s so nice seeing her out and walking around a bit more than she was ! I’m very very happy to see her out and about ! Such a cutie !

Yeah mine is a rescue, they told the owners he was one years old when they got him at petsmart. No way, he's a mature adult, wild caught. Very sad...

Yes it is at least she’s healthy and she’ll definitely outlive me but lesson learned to buy from a breeder !
