Is this weed safe for my hermann tort?

Just had Troy out in the garden for the first time an this weed seemed of particular interest! Just wondered if it was safe for munching?

It is buttercup leaves and torts seem to love them.

While I never picked them for Joe, I and I won't recommend others do, I will say that you shouldn't panic if your tort eats them.

It seems that toxicity testing in torts hasn't actually been done.
