is cactus pear good diet for tortoise?

Ive been feeding my tortoise with cactus pad for a week now. My lepoard tortoise really likes it. Today i went to local market and they have something called cactus pear, a fruit of cactus. Is is edible?
I know cactus fruits are edible but just making sure. Thanks

Yes it is edible for humans and tortoises, I give it to mine on occasion.

Its good as PART of a varied diet for tortoises. ALL of them love it.
