Hello! I am officially a tortoise owner! My husband and I have been looking to get one for a while... we were first looking at getting a sulcata but ended up with a desert tortoise beginning of this month. We adopted him through the local game and fish department. Best guess is that he is about 5 years old, 7 inches. We named him Mo Genbu. Brownie points if you can guess why.. haha

I'm excited to be on this new adventure of tortoise ownership. I love all animals and own a few already, and am always looking to bring in more. Mo is my first reptile and I love it!

Yes! We keep the blinds open so we can spot him going by. It's fun to have a living dinosaur in your backyard.
