Cute little tort! As far as black around the mouth, I bath Cooper everyday and I use the softest tooth brush I can get to scrub his head and mouth and under his neck and his front legs from where he wipes his mouth with them. He was all stained from his greens but now it is all off. It took me a little while to get him use to me doing this but now he tolerates it just fine.
