I like the color phase, but these guys always look like someone bleached them. :)

So that;s JD's secret. That clever conman...

And for anyone reading that, this is a joke - please do not put bleach anywhere near a tortoise because you will seriously injure them.

Love the orange per usual, especially on that last one!
Amazing the variety you get even within this line. You have one pictured with almost no pigments on its head (purple) while others are quite colorful. Very cool JD!

Did the 5th one hatch out with some yolk left? It seems their shells usually look deformed like that for a few days when they do that. The fourth is my favorite.

I wish I could afford one … Sooo cute … My current outdoor enclosure, though, I'm sure it would get noticed :/

Chris ....and the rest the gang ....there are two different gene lines of (female)hypo represented here , with the same Hypo (male).
The moms stay consistent you may say with the "type" they tend to hatch out , although each one different " ya just never know" ;)

Some hatchlings will have indents after being rolled up in the egg for so long. The carapace remains pliable while young and usually within the first couple weeks with proper care will start to smooth out.
