Well shouldn't be the substrate be dry for a russian tort?
I have a hiding spot but I took it out .No, it should be damp. There's no humidity in there, no plants, no places to hide, and I don't see a hide to sleep in. Russians more than any other species are so active, he's needs a much bigger and more put together habitat to live in. With rocks to climb on and big branches to dig under. You need to get busy and get him something better. Then when he's a couple of years older he's goon need to go outside....In a safe predator proof pen...welcome to TFO. Oh, you have great substrate....you did something good.
Where can i purchase supplies for a large pen?
