Hi! We are brand new Sulcata owners/adopter/for lifers. I like to think we picked him/her for our life pet. I have a Cooter water turtle that I've had since it was young and she's about 20 years old now and lives outside in a small fenced in pond. Her name is Pepper Anne. We are still deciding a name for our little baby sulcata and enjoying him/her immensely. I was recommended to the forum and have found lots of helpful info to get us started. I did a bit of research and waited until the right time to get our sulcata, but this site has helped clear up some conflicting things I learned about raising sulcatas. We are in Lousisana in the very Deep South!
