Hi to all, I have found reading all your post really educational, so had to join in since my wife has bought me two horsfield, I have wanted tortoises since I was 8 years old and have never lost my interest in having one of my own.......32 years late I finally have not one but two, the wife bought them for me for our 20th wedding anniversary.
now I am like a dad with two children and worry about them all the time...lol

Thanks for the welcome, new it was only going to be a matter of time before I got my own, my house and garden are full of not so real ones. My obsession for anything tortoise ish is very bad, but I did not want to get any till I know I would have the time and money to look after them. Now that I have got them (7 days ago) I have spent all my free time with them.
