Hi all,
I've recently reignited my long time interest in tortoise keeping after I left for studies 6 years ago. Back then I had 3 juvenile rads and a baby yni. All were sold to an experienced keeper before I left for studies overseas. Before I left, radiateds could still be found at road side pet stalls at a market in KL. Since then they have disappeared from the pet trade and prices have tripled.
Currently I have a 5" radiated and a 5" sulcata. Below are some pics when I first got them

Setup:
-coco husk bedding
- exoterra solarglow 125w with uva+uvb
-daily misting
-soaking every alternate day for the rad

Diet:
-Lettuce, hibiscus leaves, kale mixed with repti calcium
-couple of mazuri pellets a day

Hope to learn more from this forum and provide the best I can to a magnificent animal

Welcome to TFO . That soak water is too deep . For good care information on the sulcata check out Tom's threads in the sulcata section .
