Here one of the little ones that got a bad sunburn. He's doing well and does not look like he will loose any scutes.

I didn't realize that tortoises could get sunburns. Is that a common occurrence?

Anyway, your tortoises look very pleased to be stomping around in the leaves. Very cute! I can't wait until my little one has an outdoor enclosure to do the same in. :)

They can...when you screw up...I left some babies in care of someone that left them in the sun without shade for most of the day. One died, two had bad sunburns.
