Oh crap Nick! That's just really serious!!!!!!!
You're such a goof ball...The white stuff is called "urates" that's concentrated urine, water removed mostly. Your baby's urates are 'gritty' because he's not drinking enough. He needs to be soaked daily for about 20 minutes. Even if he doesn't drink in that time, water usually will soak in their cloaca and the soft skin under their necks. Start lightly spraying his food with water just for extra...And stop worrying, Bob's urates are gritty too and he drinks a lot...

i haven't had time to soak him for the past 4 days:( daily soaks now forever!

Aim for toothpaste textured! :D Little bit gritty can be fixed very easily. Does he soak himself outdoors?
