i was soaking my sulcata and he made his white pee stuff and i poked it and it had some sand like stuff in it. is this normal????!!!!
i haven't had time to soak him for the past 4 days daily soaks now forever!Oh crap Nick! That's just really serious!!!!!!!
You're such a goof ball...The white stuff is called "urates" that's concentrated urine, water removed mostly. Your baby's urates are 'gritty' because he's not drinking enough. He needs to be soaked daily for about 20 minutes. Even if he doesn't drink in that time, water usually will soak in their cloaca and the soft skin under their necks. Start lightly spraying his food with water just for extra...And stop worrying, Bob's urates are gritty too and he drinks a lot...
only a little gritty.Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, and then hydrate some more. Only a little gritty right?
you scared me at first!!!!!Oh crap Nick! That's just really serious!!!!!!!
I'm so glad that you poked it.i poked it.... is this normal????!!!!
you scared me at first!!!!!
i know!!!!!!!! i know!!!!!!!!!!(she smiles real big) Yes, I did it on purpose. Regardless of your time, it is his LIFE, you must soak everyday...period! Consider your gramma yelled at you...
i had to bring him inside for the winter, and he self soaks less.Aim for toothpaste textured! Little bit gritty can be fixed very easily. Does he soak himself outdoors?
