Help me tortoise with respiratory infection

So my two year old Russian tortoise melon got a respiratory infection. The vet gave cream and liquid medicine for her mouth the problem is no matter what I do she won’t open her mouth and I can’t get it to open please help Thankyou

I’ve never heard of cream?? What’s the liquid medicine called. I put my tortoises medicine on the food he ate if you can’t get it in the mouth

The cream is like an ointment for eyes because they are very dry and I’ve tried to put it on her food but she won’t eat
