Well,

I've always loved turtles. Most animals in general. I never really had time to take care of them when I was Infantry in the Army. After a deployment and I got out of the service and moved to AZ to go to school. Now that I just go to school and come home to do homework and relax, I definitely have the time. Time to take care of something that can outlive me. Lol

Hi and welcome Vince. Your baby is so cute. When I got mine, they too were babies like yours. I first used sand as a substrate, but found out quickly from this forum that sand is not good for your lil one. It can dry out your baby, and if ingested, it can cause blockage in their intestines. You don't want that, believe me. Members here have posts that you can go to that will give you all the information on how to properly care for your lil one. We all love our babies as we know you do, and I know you'll appreciate all the help you can get from the experts here. Keep us posted.
