Hi, first time tortoise owner from SoCal and excited to be here! We received our baby Cherry Head tortoise yesterday. This little guy is healthy and alert and ADORABLE but very shy at the moment and hides in the cave all the time, hope will warm up to us soon. The color on his/her head is VERY light, has only an orange tint to the creamy spots. I understand each CHRF is unique and the color on its head color is not the only way to ID them but at the moment, the head color is all I know how, lol. I'm hoping the experts can help us confirm he/she's a Cherry Head
