I thought i would just post a picture of our young aldabra tortoises eating hay. I get many e-mails, etc. from folks saying that the young tortoises in general they keep refuse to eat hay. Hay is a high percentage of our food sources, even as brand new hatchlings. My overall thoughts are that most are not exposed to hay at a young age and basically have no interest because they get much tastier food sources, etc. We find the same with cactus.
