It's nice having older children who are responsible and willing to help out with my Reds. I have strep throat, and my 11yr old took the responsibility of giving them a soak and feeding them in the sunny window. :)ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1403547609.229982.jpg

I'm so sorry you are sick! Strep is awful. :(

So thankful you have a kiddo that is willing to help out! Love that!!

Take care, sending well wishes your way! ;)

My three children participate fully in their care. I read them forum articles and actively encourage them to help care for them. They are genuinely interested so that's good. (For now until they hit their teens right? :D) And they know they'll be inheriting the torts someday. :)

My children are going on 21 and 20 and they don't help care for any of the animals! That's what happens when your children really are "older".....they have their own lives!
