Hi all,
We have an Ibera Greek tortoise who's now 7 months (photos is older). We sometimes take our tortoises outside in the sun, and this little guy is so difficult because he literally eats everything in site. Our older Hermann's tortoise loves walking around, sometimes will eat clover or try an occasional rock, but this little guy is like a vacuum cleaner.
If we didn't watch him like a hawk he probably would choke on something in 2 seconds. He's not really interested in weeds though he'll eat them in his enclosure, more things like gravel, wood chips, rocks. He is very well fed with a varied diet so he's not starving, just likes to inhale everything! Has anyone seen this or have any tips? It's a shame not to be able to bring him outside much!
Thanks in advance~ Larina
