Okay. So once a month (or more, depend on the 'status') I add cup or two of new coco coir to my russians table. Last time, I added some worms before it got cold outside and I couldn't find any... and they were thriving this time, because I was keeping the coir a a lot moister than the last time I tried to keep worms alive inside (yes, they all died and I had to dig around to fish them out) but today, when I added new coir, I mixed it all up, and I didn't see a single worm. And I mean, I MIXED that stuff around! Did he eat them? Did my pill bugs eat them?(I have some to control those pesky little nats) I mean, they didn't just climb out...
