I think many people are probably disappointed by the appearance of the animals or the enclosures that said animals are given so they don't reply. It's no reflection on you. Thanks for your pics though!

Yes, thanks for thinking of us. I appreciate that you showed us the pictures. Its always interesting to see how zoos take care of their tortoises (and it's never like we tell people to do it!).

The leopard tortoises look pretty good, but YIPES! that aldabran. I thought mine were pyramided, but that poor guy has points and its still growing in that way. Plus all the tortoises share the same house? Oh well...it's a matter of do as I say, not as you see the zoos doing.

The ones with the sandy/fine grain substrate are housed differently (leopard torts i believe) but the larger torts are housed together.

I think most of their animals are rescues.

The burmese is housed with the aldabra
