Box Turtle Habitat/Enclosure

Hey guys. I'm not asking for advice this time, I just want to see the habitats that you made/used for your box turtles so I might get some good ideas. Thanks.

Just a end table. Holds two hatchlings with lots of room. Less than twenty dollars to make. End table I purchased from good will for a couple dollars. A bag of sphagnum peat moss and 2$ plants from Fred Meyer. I got the 1x6 boards from Home Depot in the clearance lumber section.

Are you asking for indoor or out? Most are probably hibernating so it may be hard for some to show their enclosures unless they house them inside. @terryo @Yvonne G there are others I can't think of right now.

These are pretty basic. One is a stock tank. The other is a Rubbermaid 50 gallon tote which has is only suitable really for juvenile and/or small ones.

Those are good lisa127! If I were to keep a box turtle inside I would definitely choose that enclosure.

Mine stay in outdoor enclosures year round in New Mexico.
