Also...if you pour peroxide on an open wound it does sting....ouch...and if you do use the peroxide I have read and do this myself....after you let the bubbles eat the bacteria /infection then a warm water spritz should be done to Stop the drying out process that can sometimes dry out the top layer of a sore which in turn can dry too much and can cause cracking which really hurts...
