I think the first turtle is a Reeves. That was a pretty cute video. I really wonder what was going through that turtle's mind wanting to get up to the cat's face like that.

This video sort of offended me, however I don't really know why.

And this one was the cutest of all. This is what Maggie and I call the hootchie cootchie dance. We do it with our sulcatas all the time, and I didn't realize that water turtles did it too. Too cute!!

I loved that first video. I thought the turtle was so cute wanting to be buddies with the cat like that although the time the cat took a little bite at the turtle it scared me. :(

The second one was....whatever. Not impressed. :D

The third one I was laughing because this is exactly what Dale does when Alexander rubs his butt. We weren't sure if the tortoise likes it or is trying to be dominate by moving around like he's doing. Does anyone know? :)

Also.. Wouldn't it be dangerous for a turtle to go swimming in a chlorinated pool? =\

It does say at the top of that video that the water is chlorine-free...hopefully that is true!

This is lame... Notice he has to lift the poor thing to the surface since the camera is soo heavy...

The first one didn't do anything for me.

The second one would be really cool on a big sulcata in a large area. Also, I wonder if the turtle could get to the surface if he wanted to. He seemed pretty content to just sit at the bottom. I used to do that same thing with one of my big water monitors, just without the camera. Pool man came every Saturday. The chlorine level was at zero by Wednesday, so we would swim on Thursdays and Fridays. He never once pooped in the pool.

My male sulcatas do that too. I call it the "Hey! Get off me, I'm a male!" dance. Scooter does that sometimes when Ava sits on him.
