1lb!!!!

Rainbow Dash is officially 1lb now! Figured I'd share it with you all. She is 1 year and 3 months old.

I think you and I are having the same problem...........the scale we bought are way too small.

Probably a lot easier to plop your tort, right side up, on a small cylinder like a cap, tomato paste type can, thin jar, etc. this keeps his feet off the scale but balanced well enough to weigh. Congrats on the 1 lb marker. Many more to go. "Bottoms Up"

When I weigh Elsa, I just put an empty aluminum can on the scale, then center her on it, right side up. She tries to "run" off, but since she's suspended in the air this way, she just flaps her legs in the breeze! I think it's less traumatic than turning her upside down, but that's just me. Of course she ALWAYS pees AND poops whenever I weigh her, regardless of how I do it!

Just don't forget to zero the scale when you'll use the "jar method" ! Cute tortoise by the way
