Will one of these work for small Russian?

If so, will I need to add large mesh wire on the bottom to prevent escape?

Mine will not eat Collards, Mustard, Turnips, Kale, celery or Spinach.
Only Romaine and a few bites of carrot.
Not a chance with pellets-wet, dry, mixed.
I do sprinkle calcium on the Romaine.
Really need to come up with something.
Can it eat tomatoes or bananas?

Found this at Walmart. I was using a ceramic plant saucer, but this is deeper and much easier to remove and clean.
I put in with warm water every other day. "Turtle" loves his bath. :)
Had to make a temporary place for my granddaughter's Russian tortoise for cold days. She has an outdoor habitat for mild weather. We live near the Gulf Coast, so many winter days are warm here.
