Just noticed that lilacs are safe for tortoises, leaves and flowers. Thoughts please on this, I have many lilacs on the property. I like checking many sources when I learn something new and this forum is one of my more favored sources.

When I my new Hermann arrives what are the thoughts on soaking? What would cause the least amount of stress? Should I give him a little soak as soon as he/she arrives or go ahead and put him/her in their habitat to get adjusted a little while and wait till bedtime to soak or the next day???
